Swiss Youth IGF

Part of the Swiss Internet Governance Forum | In line with UN IGF principles

Welcome

The Swiss Youth IGF is an open, inclusive online dialogue platform for young people in Switzerland. It complements the national Swiss IGF and is committed to the UN IGF principles: openness, bottom-up participation, multistakeholder dialogue, and inclusiveness.

In line with these principles, the Swiss Youth IGF ensures that all youth voices are heard equally regardless of background, allows participants to shape the agenda through an open call for issues, fosters dialogue between diverse stakeholders including youth organisations, academia and policymakers, and remains accessible and free of charge to all interested young individuals across Switzerland.

What is the Swiss Youth IGF?

It is a youth-led initiative held as a fully online event on the eve of the annual Swiss IGF. Young participants connect virtually to discuss digital transformation topics and co-develop “Youth Messages” to be presented at the main Swiss IGF in Bern.
